Five experiences that I would like to share from my recent China trip.

1. #Internet access: Access to the #Google, many #websites and #socialmedia applications are restricted in China, so it’s important to have a virtual private network (VPN) to access blocked websites and social media platforms. Make sure to download a reliable VPN before your trip.Or, get your international country-wise mobile network and internet plan activated as per your itinerary.

2. #Businesscard #etiquette: In China, exchanging business cards is an important part of the initial meeting. It is important to have your business cards translated into Mandarin Chinese. Present your card with both hands, and to receive it with both hands too.
Take a moment to read the card before placing it on the table, and do not put it in your pocket immediately.

3. #Punctuality: Punctuality is highly valued in Chinese business #culture. Arriving on #time or a few minutes early demonstrates your #respect for the other person’s time.

4. #Gift-giving: Bringing a small gift for your client is a thoughtful gesture in Chinese business culture. Selecting the right gift is important as it shows appreciation and respect. Avoid choosing a gift that is too #personal or #expensive, as it might be considered inappropriate or an attempt to bribe.

5. Know #business #culture: Different cultures have different business practices. It is essential to research and understand the Chinese culture’s business norms and customs. If you don’t like the #food , #meeting time & #venue then you can politely deny without offending the chinese #suppliers/ #clients.
Be respectful to #food, #culture and being knowledgeable on #Chinese #culture, #traditions and #art will help you to build a good relationship with your Chinese client. And always show that you are respectful about their culture and interested in doing business with them.
